Pursuit Boats is once again a recipient of the Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) award for
excellence in customer satisfaction by the National Marine Manufactures Association (NMMA). This will be 19 years in a row Pursuit has earned this recognition. In addition, Pursuit recently received two Neptune awards for Marine Marketing Excellence by the Marine Marketers of America.
Typically, these awards are presented during ceremonies at the Miami International Boat Show. This year the awards were announced virtually and online.
“Although this has been an unconventional year for all of us, we at Pursuit continued to work hard,” said Bruce Thompson, President of Pursuit Boats. “Even with a growing demand for boats, we held on to our commitment of excellence to ensure each and every boat is manufactured to the highest quality and marketed to reflect these values. These awards are a testament to that principle.”
The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the customer. For this calendar year, award recipients achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction with at least 25 completed surveys or 15 completed surveys with a 50 percent response rate in a category/segment over the past 12 months, based on information provided by customers purchasing a new boat or engine between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020.
Pursuit also added two Neptune Awards to their brand for excellence in Marine Marketing. The 2020 Neptune Awards drew 129 entries in 20 categories. More than 70 marketing leaders from throughout the marine industry were involved in the judging process. Pursuit earned the award for Best Ad Series for their campaign for the
S 378 Sport. This campaign entitled “Pure. Evolution.” showed the progression of the boat from a linear drawing that transitions to a rendering culminating with the completed model cutting through the water. Pursuit secured a second Neptune Award in the category of Newsletters – Print and Digital. The digital newsletter, created in 2020, is used as a vehicle to connect, inform and further engage the company with their dealer network.
“Our department is honoured to have earned these awards,” said Amy Gobel, Director of Marketing. “We have worked diligently this year to continue to define our brand and to find innovative ways to communicate what makes us Pursuit. We are always looking forward as our company continues to grow.”
