The award-winning Dual Console series that has been perfected by Pursuit Boats has expanded to include the new DC 246. She made her first public appearance this year at the Palm Beach International Boat Show where she turned heads of new and experienced boaters alike.
“The DC 246 is an ideal addition to Pursuit’s model lineup. Having recently debuted our largest boat, this 25-footer will prove to be an appealing choice for families who want the versatility to fish, play and cruise on this stylish, sport utility type model. This boat will prove to be the perfect introduction to our brand,” said Bruce Thompson, President of Pursuit Boats.
The DC 246 with an LOA of 25’ 8” features forward seating with an optional removable sunpad and ample insulated storage in the forward lounge seats on the bow. Offering a multitude of seating configurations, including foldaway transom seating, cockpit extendable lounge seating and companion seating, everyone will find their favorite spot.
An integrated hardtop, tempered glass windshield with centre opening and a security latch create a comfortable cockpit while running and protection from inclement weather. The adjustable helm seat with flip-up bolster to create a leaning post allows for convenient access to the instrumentation and controls as well as the optional Garmin electronics.
The sizeable fibreglass port-side head door opens inboard and features an easy latching and locking system and wood shelving built into the inside face. The attractive interior comes complete with an optional electric toilet and freshwater sink with pullout shower and Corian countertop.
An optional wet bar package consists of cupholders, a sink with faucet and cooler to support the fun dockside. Fold away the cockpit seating and the boat is instantly fish ready, with gunwale mounted rod holders, a 15-gallon recirculating livewell and a 31-gallon insulated fish box in the transom.
The DC 246 comes complete with the new Yamaha F300, pearlescent white engine with integrated digital electronic control and cruises comfortably at 33.6 MPH at 4,500 RPMs, with a top speed of 45 MPH. Equipped with the latest Yamaha engines, increased cockpit size and functionality, the DC 246 adapts to a family’s preferred pastimes— competitive and lively or reflective and tranquil.
